AKASO V50 Pro 4K60fps Action Camera Touch Screen Waterproof Camera Features EIS and Remote Wi-Fi Control Sports Camera with 3 Batteries Wrist Strap and Accessory Kit
WHAT IS SPECIAL: Compared to regular V50 Pro, the SE features 4K60 videos, 3 batteries and a bonus wrist strap in the accessory kit. Last but not least, a black-colored camera with white Access Fund logo silk-printed on the front panel is simply commemorative.
The V50 Pro 4K60fps Action Camera is a well-rounded, waterproof action camera with a decent feature set and an easy-to-use touch screen interface. It has 4K60fps video, 120fps slow-mo video, and 4K time-lapse video, as well as 16MP still images. The V50 Pro's image quality is on par with most action cameras we've tested, and it's on par with our best pick, the GoPro Hero 6 Black. The V50 Pro's 1080p video is sharp and vivid, with strong color reproduction and white balance. The 4K60fps video is detailed and sharp, and there's very little pixelation even at 4K. The V50 Pro is also capable of capturing 1920 x 1080 slow-motion video at 120 fps. The V50 Pro can record 4K video in 30fps and 60fps, making it suitable for capturing fast-moving action like sports or travel. The V50 Pro has a 3-Axis Image Stabilization system, and it provides steady, well-exposed video even in wind or motion. The V50 Pro also has a 120-minute battery life, and it uses 3 AA batteries, which are not included.

AKASO Brave 4 Pro 4K30 Action Camera
Front Display plus Rear Touch Screen: A new, larger rear touch screen with touch 5x zoom on AKASO Brave 4 Pro action camera and a dazzling new front display makes for easy framing and intuitive camera control.
The AKASO Brave 4 Pro is one of our favorite action camera for underwater photography because it comes with advanced EIS 2.0, which improves the smoothness of videos shot underwater. The EIS 2.0 works especially well for underwater videos and photos, and works well even when the camera is shooting in slow-mo. The EIS 2.0 also works well with videos that are shot on land, but it can't compensate for movements as extreme as running, jumping, or biking. The EIS 2.0 also works well with videos shot in sunny conditions, but it can't compensate for huge variations in brightness, such as when shooting in broad daylight and at night. The Brave 4 Pro is also one of the best cameras for shooting videos in bright sunlight, and we liked how it handled low light situations. Its low-light performance isn't as good as our previous top pick, the GoPro Hero5 Black, but it's better than the Hero5 Session, and its image quality is on par with that of the Hero5 Black. We also liked that the camera comes with a waterproof case, which is useful when shooting in water, and we loved how durable the body felt, and how well it functioned in wet conditions. The Brave 4 Pro comes with a waterproof case, waterproof housing, and waterproof remote, all of which are sold separately. The waterproof case and housing cost $45 and $55, respectively, which, combined with the $300 price, makes the Brave 4 Pro one of the more expensive action cameras. However, once you configure the camera with the case, housing, and remote control, the total cost is considerably lower than other action cameras with comparable video quality.

GoPro HERO7 Silver
INTUITIVE TOUCH SCREENS: With a touch screen and simple, streamlined capture modes, it's easy to jump right in and get great shots. Just swipe and tap
The GoPro HERO7 Silver is a sharp-looking, waterproof action camera that shoots 4K60 video and 10MP photos. Its tiny size, long battery life and built-in Wi-Fi make it a great choice for a wide range of outdoor activities, from playing sports to exploring the great outdoors. The camera is waterproof to 33 feet (10 meters) and shockproof from 6.5 feet (2 meters), making it ideal for activities like skiing, surfing and biking. It also supports live streaming, letting followers watch your adventures live on Facebook, YouTube or Vimeo. The HERO7 Silver has 2 hours of battery life, and it records at up to 1080p. The 2.7-inch touch display has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, which is low by today's standards, but it's easy to view from up to 100 feet away. Insta360 ONE R 4K Edition – 60fps 4K Sports Action Camera with Stabilization
Adaptive Design: Insta360 ONE R has 3 interchangeable parts: one battery, one processor and a selection of quick-swapping lens Mods. Swap out the 4K Mod for the Dual-Lens 360 Mod (sold separately) while on the go.
The Insta360 ONE R is a solid action camera that looks good, records excellent footage, and is solidly built. It captures 4K at 60fps (or 12fps in 1080p), which is a big improvement over the ONE X, which records at the same resolution but at 30fps. The higher resolution does mean the ONE R's footage is 4.6MB per second, so it's a lot bigger than the ONE X's 3MB per second. The slow-motion capabilities are also better on the ONE R, recording at up to 8x slow motion in 720p and 1080p. The ONE R's 1080p footage is also sharper, and its stabilization is better, too. The ONE R's 4K footage is very stable, even in low-light situations, and the camera's wide field of view (140 degrees) makes it easy to capture wide shots. The only major omission from the ONE R is Wi-Fi, but it's easy enough to use the camera with a USB cable, and you can use the smartphone app to remotely control the camera. The ONE R has built-in stabilization, and it's surprisingly effective. Some cameras, like the GoPro HERO 6, have stabilization that works well in bright light but struggles in low-light situations. The Insta360 ONE R's stabilization also works well in low-light situations, making it a great choice for action sports such as surfing or skateboarding.

Best of all, the HERO8 Black can capture 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second, which is much faster than any other GoPro. The HERO8 Black's HyperSmooth stabilization is impressive, and it's the best stabilization that GoPro has ever produced. The HERO8 Black's image quality is top-notch, and its video is crisp and clear, too.

The Exprotrek 4K Wi-Fi Action Camera offers more flexibility and ease of use than our previous top pick, the Sony A6000, but it's more expensive. And while the Exprotrek's video quality is on par with the Sony's, the Exprotrek's interface and user interface are easier to use, and it's smaller and lighter. The Exprotrek's built-in Wi-Fi and remote control are also a big plus, and the action camera's battery life is longer. The Exprotrek's image quality is also better than Sony's, and the Exprotrek has a higher resolution and frame rate. The Exprotrek's user interface is particularly good: It has simple, intuitive controls, and it displays all the useful functions clearly. The Exprotrek's built-in Wi-Fi and remote control also make it more flexible than the Sony, which requires you to download a third-party app to use its Wi-Fi and remote control features. The Sony's Wi-Fi and remote control are also better, but the Exprotrek's controls are easier to use. The Exprotrek's image quality is also better than the Sony's, but the Sony's image quality is better, especially for photos and videos under low-light conditions. The Exprotrek's image quality is also better, and the Exprotrek's resolution and frame rate are higher. The Exprotrek is also cheaper, though still more expensive than the Sony.

GoPro HERO8 Black + Lanyard 64 + GB SD Card
GO PRO HERO8 BUNDLE: GoPro HERO8 Black Camera plus Sleeve Lanyard plus 64 GB SD Card features amazing HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilization combines with a tough waterproof design to make this one of the most versatile HERO cameras ever; with the optional Media Mod, you can add more lighting, pro audio and even another screen.
The GoPro HERO8 Black is our favorite action camera right now, and it easily bests the GoPro HERO7 Black. It offers the best video quality we've ever tested in a GoPro, and its new features such as HyperSmooth 2.0 and live streaming make it even more compelling. One of the best things about the HERO8 Black is its image quality: The combination of 4K60p video, 1080p240 video, and 4K120 video yields a sharp, colorful picture, and the camera's wide dynamic range and high-dynamic range video modes produce vivid color. The GoPro HERO8 Black also supports 4K30 video, but you'll need to use the camera's Protune video mode to get the best results. The HERO8 Black also has several interesting video features that weren't available on previous GoPros, including super slo-mo at 960fps, 1080p super slo-mo at 120fps, and 720p super slo-mo at 240fps. The 1080p120 and 720p240 super slo-mo options aren't as smooth as on the GoPro HERO7 Black, but they are better overall than the HERO7 Black's 960fps slo-mo. The HERO8 Black also has 12MP photos with no optical low-pass filter, which produce excellent photos when shooting in bright light.

The Neewer G2 is a well-crafted, feature-rich camera that sports a 4K/30fps max resolution, 170-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-inch touchscreen. The G2's video quality rivals that of our pick, the GoPro Hero 5, but the Hero 5 has the added advantage of live-streaming video, which the G2 does not. Like the GoPro, the Neewer G2 has a waterproof housing, so you can use it in rougher conditions. The G2's 4K and 12MP photo resolutions are enough to show impressive detail on full-size monitors, and the 170-degree wide-angle lens captures plenty of action from farther back than you can with the GoPro. The Neewer G2 takes a bit better video in the warmer (65 to 85 degrees F) and dimmer (100 lux) conditions than our previous pick, the GoPro Hero 5, but the camera's image quality is competitive with any camera in this price range, and it's plenty good for casual use. The G2's touchscreen is responsive, and the 1080p/30fps, 1080p/60fps, and 720P/200fps frame rates are plenty fast for casual shooting, and the 170-degree wide-angle lens captures plenty of action when viewed on a full-size monitor. The G2's touch screen isn't as sensitive as the GoPro's, and the camera's touchscreen menus are slightly less intuitive, but the G2's touchscreen is much faster and responsive than the Hero 5's. Overall, the G2 is a good option if you want a 4K action camera with 12MP photo resolution and 170-degree wide-angle lens, and it's a good alternative to the Hero 5.
