APT Advanced Polymer Tape APT
No Shrinking, Curling, Or Lifter Edges- Made with high temperature silicone adhesive and premium film. Our tape resists curling, shrinking, and lifted edges every time.
The APT Polyimide tape had excellent toughness and insulation, which was impressive considering how thin it was. Its low tackiness was excellent, and our sample successfully bonded to a variety of surfaces. Because APT tape is extruded, it retains its shape, so you can roll it tightly without crushing it. Our sample also bonded to a variety of materials, including metal, glass, and ceramic, and it maintained its tough, flexible properties through repeated heating. The tape is also very flexible, so it's easy to apply. The adhesive was strong enough that it held our sample together when subjected to rigorous force. The APT tape also didn't leave any residue, and there were no visible air bubbles when we applied it into crevices.

ELEGOO High Temp Tape
With silicone adhesive for easy release and leaves no residue after peel away
The 4 pack of Elegoo high temperature tape is a great value, offering 4 of the largest sizes that we tested for soldering and electrical insulation. The tape is thick and rigid, and it resists heat well, although not quite as well or as reliably as the T3 tape we used with our previous top pick. The Elegoo tape's adhesive is thick and strong, but it's not as reliable as the T3 adhesive. The Elegoo tape's electrical insulation was excellent, and it's a reliable choice for splicing wires and masking circuit boards. The small sizes are a good value, and all three of the larger sizes are a good value. The smaller sizes are better suited for short term use, and the large ones should last you a long time. The Elegoo tape is about half the cost and a quarter of the weight as our former top pick, the T3 tape.

Bertech High Temperature Tape
DURABLE MATERIAL: RoHS- and REACH-compliant tape is made using a soft coating of polyimide film with a silicone adhesive that leaves no residue
Bertech's high-temperature polyimide tape is ideal for a range of applications, including high-temperature sealing and insulation, high-temperature solder mask, PCB applications, and high-temperature masking. It's thick enough to resist penetration by molten solder and withstand temperatures of 500°F (260°C), and it's tough enough to keep its shape even when stuck to irregular surfaces. It's easy to work with, too: thanks to its flexible adhesive, the Bertech high-temperature polyimide tape is easy to work with, and it's flexible enough to conform to irregular surfaces. However, it's somewhat brittle, so it's best used on flat, clean surfaces, and it's prone to tearing, so use it with care.

Outus 6 Rolls High Temperature Tape Heat Vinyl Press Tape Heat Resistant Tape Sublimation 3D Printing Heat Tape for Heat Transfer Electronics Masking (10 mm)
Reliable material: the heat press tape is made of polyimide film and silicone adhesive, with smooth surface and high insulation, the strong organic silicone adhesive is easy to adhere, and there is no residue after peeling
This heat-resistant tape, once pressed, will remain pressed. However, its water resistance rating is limited to 280C. That's also why it's best used for heat-resistant applications, such as hot pressing and soldering. The tape's coloring is blue, which makes it easier to identify in complex situations. The tape's width is 0.9 mm, which gives you more options. The adhesive is on the reverse side of the tape, so it's easy to apply. The tape is thick enough to remain flat when pressed, but thin enough not to affect the heat transfer. The tape's adhesive is strong enough to withstand 280C, but it's not necessarily strong enough to withstand the heat from soldering irons or hot presses. The tape's adhesive is strong enough to resist peeling. However, it is not strong enough to resist water. The tape withstands 280C, so it's suitable for heat-resistant applications. The tape is too thin to resist water.

Newtex High Heat Resistant Tape
SILVER ALUMINUM FOIL TAPE: This heat reflective tape is designed to act as a heavy duty heat barrier for fixed surfaces. Just make sure the surface is clean and free of debris before applying. Take the backing of the tape, press on to the surface and you're ready to go. You will need additional manual bonds for surfaces subject to stretching, twisting, or vibration.
This tape is thin and sticky, so it sticks well and stays in place. It's durable, too, and won't tear easily. The backing is pressure sensitive, so it's easy to apply and remove, and the tape itself is thin enough to slide over things easily. It resists heat well, up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's useful for shielding cables from heat-radiating equipment. The reflective side has a shiny, metallic-silver look, so it's useful for hiding equipment and wires. The tape is thick enough to use on roofs, but it's also thin enough to use on inner walls and behind cabinets. The adhesive burns off over time with consistent heat exposure, so we recommend manually bonding with hose clamps or stainless steel zip ties for long term use.

3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 27
PERFORMACE: Designed to operate in 600 volt dry applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures
3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape is one of the most durable, reliable, and versatile electrical tapes you can buy. It can be used for a wide range of tasks, from insulating wire harnesses to wrapping wire, to sealing up cracks and gaps in walls and ceilings. The tapes' tough rubber adhesive provides strong, long-lasting bonds. The 3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 27, ½ in x 66 ft, 1 Roll is one of the strongest and thickest tapes we tested. It provided more than enough insulation for our tests. However, it is not very conformable, and most applications require more than 1 roll. 3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape is also solvent resistant, so it resists most chemicals. It performed well in tests simulating boiling-water and steam exposure, as well as exposure to oils, chemicals, and salt water. The 3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 27, ½ in x 66 ft, 1 Roll is heavier and a little more expensive than our pick, but most users will find that the extra thickness and insulation strength are well worth the extra cost.
When you're sitting in front of a fireplace, the last thing you want to do is get out a tape measure, stick it down your chimney, and risk falling down it. That's why 3M's High Temperature Flue Tape is such a godsend. This heat-resistant tape seals air leaks and stops flue gases from escaping, saving you money on heating costs. The tape is 15 feet long, and it's strong enough to seal most air duct openings without putting major stress on your chimney. Installation is easy: Simply cut the tape to your desired length, stick it in your chimney, and secure it to the inside with a utility knife. The tape is thin enough to pass through most duct openings, and it sticks to itself, so it's easy enough for a novice to install. The tape is 600 degrees Fahrenheit resistant, so it's safe to use in extreme weather conditions. It's also made in the U.S., so it's guaranteed to last longer and perform better than those made overseas.
