The Reolink RLK-5160W is our first pick for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, 1080p security camera with motion detection, night vision, and two-way talk. It lacks advanced features like two-way audio and night vision flash, but it's an excellent value for the price. This camera has a 5MP image sensor, which captures HD-quality video at up to 1080p 30fps, and records to a MicroSD card (up to 128GB). It has a range of up to 100ft, and can pan 355 degrees horizontally and tilt 50 degrees vertically. The night vision is good, and the IR LEDs can illuminate up to 40ft. The 3-Axis Sony mm lens provides a wide 120-degree field of view, and the camera comes with 2 infrared LEDs that help improve visibility at night. The built-in microphone and speaker allow you to talk directly to anyone in front of the camera, and the camera is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, Nest, and SmartThings. The camera can also work with Google Assistant, Nest, and SmartThings, and it has a 7-day free cloud storage service.

The SwitchBot Security Camera is one of my favorite devices I've tested this year. It has the best night vision of any of its competitors, and it captures high-quality video during the day and at night. The 6 infrared LEDs make it bright enough to see images in even the darkest areas of your home, and the app's video recording feature captures 10 seconds of footage whenever it detects motion, so you can easily review what happened. The video quality is on par with our other picks, but the camera's motion detection feature works much better than our two top picks, and I like the app's ability to upload and store video locally or in the cloud. I also like that the app allows you to customize motion detection zones, so you're not alerted every time someone walks by your front door. The SwitchBot Security Camera also has two-way audio, so you can talk to whoever is at the door and hear what they're saying. The app is also easy to use, and it's easy to connect it to other SwitchBot smart home products, such as the SwitchBot Hub Mini, so you can create home automation. The SwitchBot Security Camera has a couple drawbacks. It only has 2GB of storage, so if you want to store more video, you need to delete old clips, which can be a bit annoying. Another drawback is that the camera doesn't recognize voice commands, so you can't use your voice to turn on your surveillance camera, see whos at your front door, or check your baby's sleep.
Multiple Installation & Magnetic DesignThis home security cameras have the following installation methods: Table stand/wall mount with Screw or 3M adhesive tape. Original creative magnetic design, free to adjust the angle to aim at the monitoring area you want, more practical and flexible.
The Winees M1 is a high-quality baby monitor that performs well, and it's simple to set up and use. It's also one of the only baby monitors we tested that emits an audible alert when your baby wakes up from a nap or hears a noise. The night vision is decent, but not great, and the audio is quiet. The M1's battery life is average, and it needs recharging every 7 to 10 days. The M1's video quality is fine but a bit on the fuzzy side, and the lens isn't as wide-angle as some other baby monitors, so it's best used in rooms with more space. The M1 has lots of clever features, like the ability to set the camera to record only when your baby makes a sound or moves, and to save video only to the cloud, not on a memory card. This helps keep the video secure, and it's more convenient than having to find a memory card and insert it each time you want to view the video. The M1's built-in Alexa and Amazon Cloud Cam integration is a plus, and it's also compatible with Google Assistant and IFTTT. The M1's 2-way talk feature allows you to talk to your baby in a loud, clear voice without waking him up. The Winees M1 is our favorite baby monitor overall, and it's the best budget option we tested.
Easily control your WiFi camera to rotate 355 horizontally and 50 vertically. With 8 pcs IR LEDs, you can see every move of your baby or pet clearly at night.
The Reolink E1 Pro makes a terrific baby monitor, thanks to its high-resolution 4MP camera, two-way audio, and night vision. It has all of the same features as the previous model we reviewed, but it's significantly smaller and lighter, and it has a new microphone that makes it easier to hear the baby, even if it's far away. It also has a built-in speaker for audio playback, so you can listen to what your baby has been up to. The E1 Pro has two-way audio, which means you can talk back to the baby, and it'll hear you clearly. It's also capable of detecting motion, so it'll send push notifications whenever the camera detects something moving. The E1 Pro has free cloud storage for up to 7 days, and it supports up to 32GB of storage. The Reolink app is well-designed and easy to use. The live view is sharp and lag-free, and the app has several different viewing options, including a night view mode. The E1 Pro can push alerts to your phone, email, or text, but notifications can get pretty frequent. You can adjust how often the camera sends notifications, and there's also an alarm clock function, which notifies you if your baby is awake. The E1 Pro has a base station, and it's easy to install. You can also mount the camera to a wall or ceiling using included adhesive mounts.
Just plug it in and connect it to 2.4 GHz WiFi. Up and running in minutes. Rotate 355 horizontally and 50 vertically. See every corner of your home with easy pan and tilt control on Reolink app or client.
The Reolink E1 is easy to set up and use, and its 1080p video is sharp and colorful. The camera's night vision is also impressive, and it's especially good for capturing images in low-light conditions. The E1 also features two-way audio, which makes it easy to communicate with whoever is in your house. Its 1.3-megapixel camera is good enough to make out someone's facial features, but it's much weaker than the 2.0-megapixel camera on our top pick, and it will not capture video in 4K or 8K. The Reolink E1's motion detection feature is also a bit spotty; it frequently triggers when it shouldn't have, and it's also not very good at detecting moving objects. If the E1's issues aren't a problem for your needs and you don't mind its lower-resolution video, it's a solid choice for a security camera.

The Dosilkc 1080P IP camera is a good choice for anyone looking for a cheap, simple security camera with motion detection. The video quality is good, and color accuracy is decent. The night vision is so-so, and the camera doesn't offer many extra features, but it's reasonably easy to set up, and it's relatively affordable. The Dosilkc's biggest shortcoming is its lack of motion detection sensitivity; it detects motion easily, but it's less sensitive than some other cameras we tested. The Dosilkc's biggest strength is its low price. The Dosilkc's motion detection isn't as strong as that of some other cameras we tested, but it's plenty sensitive for most needs.

The Kasa indoor pan/tilt security camera is compact, easy to install, and boasts several powerful features, both monitoring and recording. It records video at 1080p HD and stores it locally on an SD card, and it supports up to 64GB cards. The motion detection feature is especially impressive. It can record motion and sound events 30 feet away, and alerts you in real time as soon as motion or sound is detected. The night vision mode offers up to 30 feet of darkness, and the camera offers two-way audio so you can talk directly to any intruders. The camera also integrates with Alexa and Google Home for voice control, and you can enable patrol mode to keep an eye on your home when you're not there. The downside to the Kasa camera is its sensitivity. Even though it's designed to detect motion or sound events, it sometimes picks up other random events, such as a bird flying overhead. Because the Kasa indoor pan/tilt security camera is battery-powered, it can only be hardwired to your home, so it can't be moved or relocated.
