Hiccups, or hiccoughs, are sudden, involuntary contractions of the diaphragm. They can happen to anyone, but they're most common in babies and young children, and are sometimes a sign of congestion. Hiccups are a normal and harmless occurrence, but they can be annoying and distracting when a child is eating.

In the MOOZ Themes Reviews Lab, we test baby products, including teething toys, for durability, safety, and ease of use. Our testers evaluate each toy's ease of cleaning, including whether it's dishwasher safe, as well as how well it grips baby's teeth. We also test the toys for durability, including how they'll hold up to baby's chewing. Our pick for the best teething toy is the hiccup toothless toys from VTech. The toy is soft, and it has a textured ring that snaps onto baby's gums, helping to keep teeth from rubbing together.

Our picks for the best teething toys are based on our comprehensive testing and knowledge within this category for reviewing specifications and documentation. That said, these are the best teething toys:

This Toothless plush doll is adorable! It is large and very soft, and when it arrived, my son and I had to hold hands to hold him. The detailing on this Toothless plush is very realistic, from the dragon's scales, to its mouth, to his eyes. My son loves holding Toothless up to his face and pretending to eat him. My son also loves the Night Fury plush, which is soft and cuddly. The detail on Night Fury's wings, body, and tail are very realistic. The likeness to this version of Night Fury is very accurate, from the size and shape of his face, to the shape of his eyes. My son loves having both Toothless and Night Fury for him to cuddle with. The packaging for these plush toys is high quality. The packaging is thick and made of cardboard, with the Toothless plush doll inside a plastic sleeve. Dreamworks Dragons, Toothless and Hiccup, Dragon with Armored Viking Figure, for Kids Aged 4 and Up

Dreamworks Dragons

by Spin Master

Includes: 1 Dragon, 1 Figure, 1 Projectile, 1 Weapon Accessory

The Dreamworks Dragons, Toothless & Hiccup, Dragon with Armored Viking Figure is a great addition to the collection of any young dragon trainer. Both figures have vivid, realistic styling, and both figures have moveable wings, legs and heads. The figures are poseable, so you can create exciting battle scenes. The set comes with a projectile launcher, and you can use that to launch the dragon figure at bad guys. The launcher is sturdy, and does a good job of launching the dragon figure up to 35 feet. The launcher is so much fun, we were tempted to just use it to launch a plastic ball at a wall, but we didn't. The launcher has a range of 35 feet, so it's a little short for firing the projectile at targets more than 35 feet away. The launcher also has a slight delay before it launches, which can make the launcher difficult to use when you're in a hurry. The launcher also has limitations, however. The projectile can only launch the dragon figure up to 35 feet. So, for example, if you're trying to attack a tower that is 40 feet away from you, the launcher won't fire the projectile, because it will already have flown past the tower by the time you fire the launcher. The launcher also has a limited range, so if you want to launch the dragon figure at a target more than 35 feet away from you, you'll probably have to resort to launching the projectile by hand. The launcher is a lot of fun, and both figures look great, but we can't give it a perfect score. The launcher has limitations, and the dragon figure can't fly more than 35 feet.

Please Note: The hands and heads of the figures can be assembled. You may assemble the hands by yourself if the figures were scattered when they arrive.

These figures are great collectibles for fans of the How to Train Your Dragon book series. The figures come with various accessories, like swords, shields, and helmets, which contribute to their fun collectibility. Each figure is 10-12cm tall and about 6cm long, and they move well, even when you put them in a pile (as in our photo). The faces are fun and the color schemes are distinct, so it's easy to tell what figures belong to which character. The package is attractive, too, with a matte box, and the figures themselves have a reasonable weight to them as well. Plus, they're affordable.

DreamWorks Dragons Dragon with Armored Viking Hiccup & Toothless Dragons Revealed

DreamWorks Dragons Dragon with Armored Hiccup Viking & Toothless Dragons Revealed

by Spin Master

Includes: 1 Dragon, 1 Figure, 1 Projectile, 1 Weapon Accessory

The DreamWorks Dragons Dragon with Armored Viking Hiccup & Toothless Dragons are fun toys for kids and fans of How to Train Your Dragon. The figures hold their own against competitors' toys in their price range, but they're also much cheaper, and they're made by Mattel, which has a reputation for making high-quality toys. They're well-made, too: The figures don't appear to have any weak spots. The dragons are nicely articulated, and Toothless is a lot of fun to play with. The projectiles that load into Toothless' mouth are fun to pull back and launch. The poseable arms, legs, and heads also add to the fun, though Hiccup's head is frustrating to position. The dragons aren't the best toys for young kids, though, as they're a bit large and loud. They don't have as much detail as the other DreamWorks Dragons toys, and they don't move as smoothly or as fluidly. They're fun toys for kids, but they're not the best choice for younger children.
