Julbo Aerospace Snow Black Goggles, Frame
Design: The ultimate in snow sports goggle venting and lens technology with a wide field of vision. Goggle Size: Large
The Julbo Aerospace Snow Goggles live up to their name, as they're designed for maximum visibility in challenging conditions. They provide clear, fog-free vision and run fast, thanks to Julbo's SuperFlow System, which keeps the lens away from the frame, allowing for optimal air flow. The goggles are also lightweight and comfortable, thanks to dual-soft foam padding and a wide, adjustable strap. The lenses are photochromic, so when they change tint from dark to light, they do so quickly, and are quick to regain their dark tint, as well. The goggles are helmet compatible, and the strap is wide enough to comfortably fit over thick goggles. They do lack a field of vision compared to our pick, but if you're on narrow runs, that's not a problem. They also lack a strap or strap attachment to keep the goggles on your head, but Julbo does provide retention cords, which keep the goggles from sliding down your nose.

Julbo Airflux Snow Black/Grey Goggles, Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Dual soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
The Julbo Airflux goggles are among the best we've seen for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. The goggles are compact and lightweight, and they fit securely on your head without causing any pressure points. They feature wide, spherical lenses that provide an excellent field of view, and the lens vents are strategically placed to channel air out of the goggles and help prevent fogging. The goggles also feature Julbo's patented SuperFlow System, which allows the lens to detach from the frame, so air can flow in and exhaust fog out. The lens is also treated with a hydrophobic coating that helps prevent water droplets from accumulating, and the lens and frame are coated with a UV-blocking finish that protects against harmful rays. The goggles are comfortable, quiet, and fit securely on your face, and they come with a protective pouch. They also come with a case, lens wipes, and a microfiber cloth, but the case and cloth aren't as durable as we'd like, and the wipes aren't as soft as they should be. The goggles' lens has an orange tint, which provides great protection from the sun's rays but isn't as dark or opaque as darker tints.

Julbo Skydome Snow Goggles, Black Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Dual soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
Julbo's Skydome goggles are excellent for year-round use, whether that's hiking through summer snow or skiing through snowy winter conditions. The goggles' photochromic lens automatically adjusts from light to dark tint in response to changing light conditions, so they're always clear to view, even in low light or foggy conditions. The goggles have the widest field of vision of any ski goggles we tested, and their spherical lens shape gives unobstructed views of your surroundings. The goggles also feature Julbo's Air Flow venting, which keeps the lenses clear of fog, and a double lens construction with long lasting inner lens anti-fog coating, so the lens never fogs up on you while you're out on the slopes. The goggles are extremely light weight, only 135 grams, and comfortable to wear, with an adjustable elastic strap and rubber nosepiece. The goggles' one-size-fits-all design makes them ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. The goggles also feature conductive silicone touch points on the strap that allow you to control your GoPro camera while wearing the goggles.

Julbo Moonlight Snow Coral Goggles, Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Cosy, soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
Julbo's Moonlight Snow Goggles are some of the best goggles we tested. The lens is as bright as the sun, and it's fog-resistant. They're comfortable to wear and come with an adjustable headstrap. We also liked Julbo's 30-day return policy and free exchanges. The lens has a slightly yellow cast, so it's best suited for sunny conditions. The frame is durable and comfortable, and the strap is long enough to wrap around your head. The Moonlight Snow Goggles also have a larger field of view than most goggles we tested, so it's easy to see where you're skiing. However, the goggles don't offer the same protection against dust and wind as some of the other models we tested.

Julbo Shadow Snow Black/Army Goggles, Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Dual soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
The Julbo Shadow Snow goggles are light, comfortable, and come with great lenses. The lenses are photochromic, which automatically adjust to changing light conditions, and the lens tint also changes when the air temperature changes. The lenses are polarized, which eliminates glare, and the goggles are fog resistant, which is a huge plus. The goggles have a wide field of vision, and the lenses are large and rounded for a comfortable fit. The goggles have a lot of padding around the lens and frame, which makes them comfortable even during extended use. The goggles also have vents in the nose area that allow air to flow through the goggles. The goggles have an elastic strap that is adjustable for a good fit, and it also has an adjustable nose piece for a good fit. The goggles also come with a carrying case and a micro USB cable for charging.

Julbo Alpha Snow Goggles, Black Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Cosy, soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
It's hard to find snow goggles that perform well in bright sun. But Julbo's Alpha goggles are an exception. They're light enough to wear all day, but they provide plenty of protection from glare and the sun's harmful rays. The lenses are bright, and they run fairly clear, making them a great choice for skiing or riding. The frame is wide, so they don't obstruct your view, and the lens is frameless, so it's more comfortable than goggles with frames that have to wrap around your face. The goggles are durable, and the lenses are easy to adjust. The goggles do fog up when it's too cold, but the lenses are easy to wipe off, and the frames are vented, so there aren't any problems with condensation. The Alphas are a good choice for skiers or snowboarders who wear glasses, but they'd be good for anyone, as they're inexpensive and durable, and they offer a wide field of view.

Julbo Aerospace OTG Goggles, Snow Black Frame
Design: The ultimate in snow sports goggle venting and lens technology with a wide field of vision and OTG compatibility with all prescription glasses. General Goggle Size: Large
The Julbo Aerospace OTGs are our top pick for outdoor enthusiasts who wear prescription glasses. The goggles use a soft foam lining to provide a comfortable, custom fit, and the wide elastic band has a silicone grip that prevents the strap from slipping or sliding. They're also helmet compatible so you won't have to worry about swapping out your goggles if you change helmets during a trip. The goggles' photochromic lens automatically adjusts from light to dark tint quickly, no matter the air or air temperature. The lens also has a red tint that highlights terrain details, and 100% ABC UV Protection. The goggles' SuperFlow System keeps the lens away from the frame, allowing air to flow in and exhaust fog out. The goggles also have a interior anti-fog coating that's renewable with a warm water wipe, so you'll never have to worry about fogging up while out on the trail.

Julbo Ventilate Snow White/Grey Goggles, Frame
Design: Best for small to medium sized faces, this anatomic frame features ultimate venting. Goggle Size: Small
Julbo's Ventilate goggles are light and comfortable enough to wear all day, especially if you opt for the medium fit. The goggles come with a wide elastic strap with silicone grip, which makes it easy to put on and remove. The lens is ventilated and fog-free, so your eyes won't fog up midway through a run. Julbo's patented Superflow System allows the lens to push the frame away from the face, so there's plenty of airflow for cooling and for exhaust fog to blow out. The goggles also come with three interchangeable lens options, so you can switch out the lens depending on weather conditions. The goggles have a category 3 lens, which means it will block 13% of visible light and more than 98% of UVA and UVB rays. (The goggles do not block 100% of visible light, so you'll still need to wear sunglasses if you spend a lot of time in the sun.) The goggles come with a single strap, but Julbo also offers a double strap, which (like many helmets) has straps that wrap around your head. The goggles come with a case, a lens cloth, and a lens cleaning cloth.

Julbo Quickshift 4S Goggles, Green Frame
Comfortable & Secure: Dual soft foam for protection & comfort. Helmet compatible, wide elastic strap with silicone grip
The Julbo Quickshift 4S goggles are much better in bright light than our previous pick (the Julbo Quickshift 4), and they offer much better eye protection than the Julbo Quickshift 3. But the Quickshift 4S are more expensive and heavier, and they do not offer the same field of view as the Quickshift 4. The Quickshift 4S also have a diopter adjustment, which the Quickshift 3 does not. The Quickshift 4S are more comfortable than the Quickshift 3, but they are still fairly tight and leave an imprint on your face. The Quickshift 4S goggles come with a hard storage case and a soft nosepiece, and they are also compatible with Julbo's Quickfit interchangeable lens system. The Quickshift 4S goggles are a good choice if you don't need a wide field of view and you like the Julbo brand.
