The LED light does get quite hot. It's held on by a magnet, and that magnet does get quite hot. As a result, the helmet light does transfer a lot of heat to your head. This isn't a major problem, but it can get uncomfortable on your head if you're riding at night. The LED light isn't washable, but you do get a soft brush for cleaning your helmet. This Lily helmet light is easy to install. The helmet light has points which allow it to be fixed in place. Alternatively, you can remove the LED helmet light, and fix it to your bike. The light saves power by turning itself off when there's no motion going on. The light will also stop if you stop driving. The light is magnetic, but there's no lock to keep the light in place once it's attached. Overall, I really enjoyed using this helmet light. It does a lot, and it's easy to strap on and use. However, its price tag and battery life are issues that mean it's perhaps best left as a decoration when riding.

Adjustable padding does a good job of keeping the helmet comfortable. The one-piece internal padding is comfortable, and keeps the rider's head well cooled. The liners are also available separately. These liners look rather smart and are hardwearing.
