MEKE MK-14EXT-N I-TTL Macro Ring Flash Compatible with Nikon D7100 D7000 D5200 D5000 D5100 D3500 D3200 D3100 D90 D300S D600 with LED AF Assist Lamp
Effectively improve the brightness for supplementary lighting. Provide adequate brightness for macro shooting.
This ring flash has some good features, but it's a little too big for what we used it for. We primarily used it for macro photography, and the ring flash performed very well. The built-in trigger is very strong, so you have to brace your hand against something when pressing it. The flash also has three modes: flash, all flash, and long brightness mode. The flash mode is the loudest of the three, but it's very fast. The long brightness mode is the slowest and dimmest of the three, but it produces the nicest results. The flash is very powerful, but there's quite a bit of glare. And it's hard to hold the ring flash still, so you need a steady hand. We also like the ring flash's built-in LED AF assist lamp. The lamp gives you a nice even spot to focus your AF assist, and it lights up quickly. The ring flash also supports Nikon's wireless commander, which is really cool. The ring flash is big and bulky, so it's a little hard to hold. It's also an expensive accessory, so it isn't a great choice if you're on a tight budget.

The Neewer 750II TTL Flash Kit for Nikon D7200 D7100 D7000 D5500 D5300 D5200 D5100 D5000 D3300 D3200 D3100 D3000 D700 D600 D500 D90 D80 D70 D60 D50 Cameras with Wireless Triggerï¼ for Nikon is a really impressive piece of kit. The remote trigger is very well built, and the TTL flash unit itself is excellent. It shoots off a burst of light, and because it's TTL, you can control its exposure by varying the flash power. The remote trigger works over a range of 100 meters, and there's a red LED on the flash so you can tell where it's pointing. There's a small button on the front of the flash so that its exposure can be adjusted manually. The 35-piece color gel filters are a nice touch, and allowing you to use them on-camera or off-camera is a great feature. The flash diffuser makes light bouncing much easier, and the color gel filters are a nice touch. The wireless remote trigger is well made and has a long battery life. Overall, the Neewer 750II TTL Flash Kit for Nikon D7200 D7100 D7000 D5500 D5300 D5200 D5100 D5000 D3300 D3200 D3100 D3000 D700 D600 D500 D90 D80 D70 D60 D50 Cameras with Wireless Triggerï¼ for Nikon is an excellent kit that is great for both on-camera and off-camera use.

The VOKING VK750III is a no-frills, affordable, and easy-to-use flash that is easier to set up than most of the flashes we tested. It offers two ways to sync your flash: TTL and wireless TTL. For Nikon DSLRs, it offers a TTL mode for faster shutter speeds and more accurate exposures. The wireless TTL mode is useful for off-camera flash sync (OCF), which helps reduce camera shake, though you'll need a remote to trigger it. It calibrates quickly, and it's simple to sync. The flash also supports manual flash modes and 6 different flash modes, including TTL, M, Multi, S1, S2, and REMOTE. The VK750III also includes a built-in LED-Assisted preview focus feature for more accurate focusing, a memory function, and a temperature detection function. It also supports front- and rear-curtain sync. The VK750III includes a built-in hot shoe, and, like most other flash units, it only works with certain Nikon DSLRs. The VK750III is also a little heavier than most of the other flashes we tested, but it's extremely durable and is less likely to break.
