Leegol Electric Rock Tumbler Double 6LB Drum Lapidary Polisher (Double Drum)
Professional Features: The durable motor allows you to tumble multiple batches of rocks. An improved, leak-proof barrel is lined with rubber for quieter operation
The Leegol 6LB is a solidly-built rock tumbler that can be used for both roughing and finishing . It s simple to use, just turn it on, fill the barrels with loose rock, and turn it on again. The 5lb barrel is perfect for roughing, while the 6lb barrel is great for finishing. The 6lb barrel is also a good size for tumbling a small rock collection. The 6LB s small size makes it easy to transport, and it s great for smaller rocks. The 5lb barrel is a little harder to use, as it s a little harder to keep everything moving. The 5lb barrel is easier to use for rocks of smaller dimensions, like the auricles and cabochons that I typically work with. The 6lb barrel can also handle small cobbles and larger river rocks. Stonecho Professional Rock Tumbler Kit for Adult-3LB Kids Extra Large Capacity Rock Polisher
TPE Plastic Particles for Dazzling Results-This rock polisher kit stands apart from others thanks to our exclusive reusable TPE plastic particles. Adding them on cycles 2-4 to reduce rock breakage for incredible shine.
The 10-pound Professional Rock Tumbler Kit from Sharper Image is our best pick for polishing rocks at home. It has a large 3-pound barrel that's 75% quieter than our previous pick's, has the strongest polishing grip of any machine we tested, offers more granular control with three speeds (from gentle to aggressive), and saves a lot of time with its 24-day cycle. The 10-pound capacity means it can make larger rocks, and it's quieter than a 5-pound barrel. The belt is durable and robust, and the machine's 3-speed settings (from gentle to aggressive) offer granular control. The machine is simple to use, and it's relatively light, too. The only significant drawback is that it's fairly expensive. It's also louder than our previous pick, which sounds more rumbling and coarse than the Sharper Image's more refined, higher-pitched rumble. But the sound isn't so bad, and we found that we could use the machine comfortably while watching TV or listening to music, so it isn't a deal breaker.

Discover with Dr. Cool Replacement Rock Tumbler Barrel for Geographic National Professional Series Tumbler and Hobby Series Tumblers
QUIET AND CONVENIENT Constructed of durable rubber and with a leak-proof lid, this barrel is designed to be low-noise and easy to use
We love the National Geographic Professional and Discover with Dr. Cool tumblers, and we've used their rock tumblers for years. This kit is a great addition to those systems, though it's primarily intended for use with National Geographic tumblers. The barrel fits the National Geographic Professional and Discover with Dr. Cool tumblers, and it will polish rocks, gemstones, and sea glass to a beautiful luster. The National Geographic tumblers use a different grit size than many other rock tumblers, and this kit comes with 2 pounds of 2000- and 3000-grit polishing media, which is enough material to polish 2 pounds worth of rocks. The kit also comes filled with a 2-pound bag of polishing grit. The lid on the barrel is leak-proof, so you can keep your rocks and grit dry. The barrel is too narrow (it fits the National Geographic tumblers, but not other models), so it's easy to use with gloves. The grit is coarse enough to polish rocks, but it's fine enough not to scratch your rocks. We can't wait to use this kit to polish some minted coins that we picked up while on vacation.

Tru-square Metal Products Tumbler Thumler's Rock Polisher
115V continuous duty motor
The Thumler's Tumbler Rock Polisher is a well-built tool with a sturdy handle and a nice, comfortable grip. The polisher head, which has a dial, spins easily, and it's easy to adjust the pressure. The polisher did a great job of polishing our granite countertop, removing scratches, scuffs, and stains. The polisher's 3lb. capacity is enough for small to medium-sized jobs, and there's a sturdy, removable handle to make it easier to transport. The polisher's compact size (just over 5 inches long) lets you put it right where you need it, and the polisher head has a 4-inch diameter, making it a particularly good choice for polishing large flat areas, such as kitchen countertops. The polisher's extra-long power cord allows you to put it wherever it's convenient for you, and it's compatible with 120V and 240V outlets, so it's a good fit anywhere. The polisher's 1,200W motor is powerful enough to remove most marks and stains, and it has a 3-year warranty, which is longer than most competitors' warranties.

Leegol Electric Hobby Tumbler Machine
Professional Features: The durable motor allows you to tumble multiple batches of rocks. An improved, leak-proof barrel is lined with rubber for quieter operation
The Leegol electric hobby tumbler machine is a great machine for polishing and tumbling rocks. This machine has a 3-pound capacity, which is large enough for small to medium-sized rocks. The tumbler is simple to use, and it's very quiet. The included 0.5lbs of walnut shell media is enough for polishing and tumbling about 100 rocks, so you won't need to purchase additional media for a while. The tumbler's small foot print and light weight makes it easy to move around. The Lee's 3-pound capacity is enough for small to medium-sized rocks, but you'll probably want to upgrade to a larger machine if you polish larger rocks. The Leegol also doesn't run as cool as some of our other picks, and that makes polishing rocks a little more challenging. The Lee's LCD panel is easy to use, but some of the buttons are a little small, so you might need to squint to read them. The Lee's instruction manual is detailed, but it's a little difficult to understand at first. The Leegol doesn't vacuum, but you will need to empty its collection chamber periodically. The Lee's collection chamber is big enough to fit about 30 rocks. The Leegol's 5-minute timer is convenient, but this timer doesn't count down, so you'll need to start polishing your rocks while the timer is still running. The Leegol also doesn't include an instruction manual, so you'll need to spend some time reading the Leegol's website before using it.
